Rust BP Wipe: Does Force Wipe Reset Blueprints?
Usually not. The monthly force wipe always resets the map. Blueprints are only wiped when the server owner chooses to, or when Facepunch forces it on every server. The last forced blueprint wipe was November 6, 2025.
Next force wipe: Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Force Wipe vs BP Wipe
A force wipe happens on the first Thursday of every month, when Facepunch ships the monthly update: every server gets a new map and all bases and items are gone. A BP wipe also resets the blueprints players have learned, so everyone starts the tech tree again. Servers can map wipe weekly or more often without ever touching blueprints.
The Last Forced BP Wipe: November 6, 2025
“Today, we’re wiping all Blueprints, wiping all servers, and drastically reducing tech tree and research costs.”
In the same post Facepunch explained why: “the majority of servers don’t Blueprint wipe, including our Facepunch servers.” Source: Facepunch, “Pivot or Die” (November 2025).
Is Every Force Wipe a BP Wipe Now?
Not announced. Facepunch: “Does this mean we’ll be force-wiping Blueprints every month? Maybe. We’re not committing to anything yet.” No Facepunch announcement since then has forced another blueprint wipe (checked through October 2026). If one does, it is announced in the update notes on force wipe day, and this page flags it.
Does My Server BP Wipe?
Check the server name, description or Discord: most servers state their BP wipe schedule there. Community-run official servers “may have their own separate blueprint wipe schedules”, per Facepunch. On Rust Console Edition, see the console wipe schedule.
